Charlie Tan admitted to killing his father Jim Tan and is now serving 20 years in prison on gun charges. His case has been made public on the NBC crime series Dateline.
Jim was president of the Canandaigua-based Dynamax Imaging, who was found dead in his Pittsford residence.
