Disha was attending a candlelight vigil in Baytown on Sunday evening. The dreadful incident occurred around 6:40 pm on Sunday. Around 50 people, including children, had gathered in a vigil for a murder victim from Bayton.

Disha Allen was shot at the Baytown Candle Light Vigil along with 13 other people. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, reports ABC 13.
Disha’s age was 25 years old. She was from Humble, Texas.
Three victims were taken to the hospital by Life Flight. Others got transported to Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the witnesses, they heard about 20-30 gunshots at the vigil. People started screaming and running to their vehicles. Some victims had serious gunshot injuries and were taken to the Memorial Hermann for treatment.
Another incident occurred soon after everyone got to the hospital. A large fight broke out, and other agencies got contacted for help with the fight.
Two of the other victims shot were a pastor and his wife, who attended the vigil. The police authorities did not release the identities and details about the victims.
Allen’s loved ones posted an obituary and shared condolences to honor her untimely death.
